SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Street-Side Salon presents a unique sponsorship opportunity for an individual, family, or company. It is a community-oriented day outside on the streets of South Dallas. We set up a pop-up barbershop where local hairstylists volunteer their time to cut the hair of our homeless friends. It is a day of relationship building. Spring dates are March 18, April 22, May 20, and June 10. We will have four dates in the Fall that we will announce late summer 2017. You can sponsor one day or more than one. See more information below.

As a result of this event, our homeless friends have expressed the courage to interview for jobs, have received much-needed prayer, and generally leave feeling a deeper sense of their inherent dignity. We often set up a clothes shop alongside the barber shop so that people can receive not only a new hair cut but also a new outfit.

In the event of rain or other inclement weather and the cancellation of one or more Street-Side Salons this year, the funds donated will either be used at another Street-Side Salon this year OR in the event we have raised all of the funds necessary for 2017, will go to the area of greatest need at the time.
